3M Product Recall- Immediate Action Required
3M Personal Safety division is issuing a 'Stop Use and Recall' of recently received Twin Cup Headsets
Impacted Dates: March 31st - April 13, 2023
Recent internal product testing identified a manufacturing issue that impacts the sealing ring attenuation performance on the 3M PELTOR Twin Cup EX Headsets (MT72H540P3E-50). In scope are product manufactured between March 31 and April 13, 2023. The issue may result in less sound attenuation than the labelled value(s).
Once discovered, the manufacturing issue was corrected immediately. There have been no reports of injury or complaints related to this issue.

a. On the product label (Fig 1): Find the Batch number above the barcode
If the Batch number matches one listed above, the product is affected, and user should move on to Step 2.
If not affected, no additional action is required.
b. On the box label (Fig 2): Find the Batch number below the smaller barcode
If the Batch number matches one listed above, the product is affected and user should move on to Step 2.
If not affected, no additional action is required.
Step 2: All affected product should be returned to your distributor for replacement.
